WORK UNDERTAKEN
Installation of cast in-situ steel rails for automated car park in Green 6 rating building, Car park of the building continued to function whilst 24/7 shifts continued to run to absolute timeframes using over 10,000 litres of epoxy.
Maxbuild developed a bespoke steel form work for the project that ensured the required tolerances were adhered to. Fabrication and delivery needed to be “just in time” to allowable shifts so as not to impede the functionality of the building.
Project Challenges:
The steel rails needed to be installed with +/- 1mm tolerances and absolute time frames for delivery needed to be carefully programmed with curing times for each level of car park.
