Waterproofing structures for resilience and longevity

Waterproofing is an essential part of the construction process to protect a structure from deterioration due to water ingress. MaxBuild ensures that joints and penetrations are sealed against water to protect the structural integrity and resilience of the structure.

MaxBuild uses Sikadur Combiflex and other high quality products from the Sika range that meet the unique needs of each project to provide a watertight seal.

Applications of waterproof coatings for roofs and trafficked car park decks

As unique structures with maximum spans and minimal support, car parks are subjected to high loads from vehicles and are exposed to a range of harsh conditions and wear. Without protection and maintenance, these influences can lead to structural damage and deterioration. MaxBuild can help ensure the integrity and safety of the structure at all times. As experienced applicators of waterproof coatings, MaxBuild will choose the right solution for your project to ensure high performance and long term structural protection to your structure.

Waterproof membranes for below ground structures

Maxbuild installs waterproofing membranes for waterproofing of below ground structures. During the construction process, below-ground structures can be exposed to water and mud and this can put the membrane at risk of being damaged. Below-ground structures, contaminated sites and landfills require a proven, long-term solution for waterproofing - especially as the membrane is almost impossible to access after it is installed.

Remedial work for crack leak sealing

Waterproofing solutions are also used for remedial work such as crack leak sealing when cracks or leaks occur in water retaining structures and treatment plants.

Leak sealing resin injection is undertaken using foaming polyurethane resins injected using either hand or mechanical pumps. This technique works on both high and low water flow leaks. It involves drilling holes into the leak, inserting packers and injecting the leak sealing resin through the packers. MaxBuild is a specialist installer of Normet resin injection products
