SAFETY

Industry leader of HSEQ

MaxBuild operates a system of continuous quality management and improvement to ensure we are leaders of best practices in Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality in our industry.

All MaxBuild site supervisors, project managers and management team use the iAuditor and PeopleSafe compliance software to immediately log any quality issues and non-conformances.

Further strategies include:

  • On-going training for all staff and contractors
  • Toolbox meetings
  • Regular liaison with Site Management to identify and resolve any site-specific issues
  • Regular site safety evaluation

Health and Safety

It is our genuine belief that a healthy and safe working environment translates directly to a happy and productive workforce. This in turn results  in a quality job completed on time, ensuring our ultimate objective in every job – a happy and satisfied client.

Therefore we see it as our ongoing commitment to not only meet but exceed our industry’s statutory requirements for Health and Safety through regular audits.

Our first step in achieving this is to ensure that all our tradespeople are current Site-Safe passport holders. We believe this basic knowledge requirement is relevant to all of our projects – whatever the scale.

A Site Safe Civil Passport is the minimum requirement for all our employees and contractors.  In addition we ensure that they also have recognised training relevant to the areas they work in.

Some of these areas are:

  • First Aid
  • Confined Space and Gas Detection
  • Working At Heights
  • Traffic Control
  • Concrete Cutting
  • Elevated Work Platform

Environment

It is company policy that our entire workforce, from corporate office to teams on site, be aware of and manage effectively the environmental impact of all work related activities.
